Changes to the authorship of a manuscript must be documented and approved by all authors. An author’s name can be removed only at the request of that author, and all coauthors must sign a change of authorship agreement for any change in authorship (additions, removals, or change of order) to be made.
When the record with the changes is submitted, a digital form will be sent to all authors showing both the previous and the new authorship. A digital signature is required.
